(KSL News) Four people are answering some tough questions this morning following a violent carjacking in the middle of the night.
A 41-year-old driver was at 3rd South waiting to turn right on 4th West when two men approached him, opened his car door and assaulted him. The men pulled the victim from his car and drove away.
The victim flagged down a passing police officer. A short time later, an officer on a bike spotted the thieves, called for backup and pulled them over.
Four people were inside the car by that time. The victim identified the driver. He is charged with robbery and auto theft. The three other men were detained.
