(KSL News) -- A woman is in the hospital this afternoon, after slamming her car into a power pole in Taylorsville.
Taylorsville police say the elderly driver lost control of her car and swerved into the pole. The impact sheared off the top of the pole, and it landed in a nearby canal.
The driver was taken to LDS Hospital for treatment.
