MURRAY — Losing something you care about is never easy, but having something taken from you by thieves is even harder to swallow.
A Murray business owner is hoping investigators can locate a vintage car and custom motorcycle that was stolen after his window tinting shop was broken into early Friday morning.
Tyrell Johnson said thieves broke through the front door and the back window of his shop located at 150 West 4800 South between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.
They ransacked my place and got most of the valuable items they could.

"They ransacked my place and got most of the valuable items they could," he said. The thieves even took another vehicle on the property for a joyride before getting away with about $80,000 worth of electronics, tools, and equipment, Johnson said.
He said the most devastating loss was a "rare gold 1968 Chevy Camaro" with "only had 3,600 original miles on." The car was purchased by Johnson's father about 16 years ago and had a lot of sentimental value to the family.
"It was a car that me and my dad had worked on since I was 11 years old," he explained. "It was me and my dad's project when I was growing up."
Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to contact the Murray Police Dept. at 801-840-4000.
