(KSL News) Memorial observances for former Utah Gov. Calvin Rampton begin tomorrow.

Rampton's body will lie in state at the Governor's Mansion where the public can pay respects from noon to 4 p.m.

Tradition dictates former governors lie in state at the Capitol building, but the Capitol is under reconstruction.

A private viewing will be held later Thursday evening at Larkin Mortuary.

A memorial service for Rampton will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. It will be at the Parley's Stake Center on 1870 East Parley's Canyon Blvd. The public is invited.

Rampton was Utah's only governor to serve three full terms.

Rampton died Sunday night. He was 93.
