SALT LAKE CITY (AP/KSL News) -- A chain e-mail has been circulating on the Internet against the H-B-O polygamy drama series "Big Love."
An e-mail chain letter and hundreds of e-mails to HBO say the network is not doing enough to separate the polygamist and the fundamentalists who practice it and the modern day LDS Church.
Choose the right, Celestial Kingdom, free agency: All terms members of the mainstream church say are too close for comfort. The e-mail contends the series is full of "parodies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" and asks for it to be canceled.
Mary Bachelor with Principle Voices says the show does differentiate, not so though say the complaints.
H-B-O spokeswoman Nancy Lesser says it has received hundreds of complaints since the e-mail began circulating. But the network insists the show does not demean or misrepresent the LDS church.
