(KSL News) Hillcrest High School was broken into this morning.
The burglars got in by breaking a window, but janitors inside the school heard the commotion and called police.
Officers used several K-9 units to look for the burglars but came up empty-handed.
Sgt. Tom Mitchell of the Midvale Police Department said, "We wanted to make sure no one was still in the school. Students start showing up pretty early, and we wanted to make sure the suspects weren't still inside the school."
The buglars got away with a computer and monitor but left other equipment sitting in a hallway.
