(Deseret Morning News) A Springville woman convicted of killing her adopted daughter already has a date for her parole hearing.
In January, a judge sentenced Jennete Killpack to one to 15 years in prison. Killpack, will appear before the Parole Board in five years-- January 2011.
Killpack's attorney is appealing her sentence. Prosecutors say Killpack forced her four-year-old daughter to drink a gallon of water as punishment. The girl died from water intoxication.
