(KSL News) -- Today's nice weather drew lots of outdoor enthusiasts to the mountains, including snowmobilers. One man got into some trouble; he's now in the hospital.
It happened in Davis County about a mile north of Francis Peak. Deputies say about 12 snowmobilers were going up some steep hills when a 35-year old hit a rock and the snowmobile turned over.
He hurt his back and his group called 9-1-1. He was taken by helicopter to the hospital. We've had no word on his condition.
Farmington Canyon was closed for a while while crews got the man off the mountains, but is back open again.
