Carole Mikita Reporting Tens of thousands of Latter-day Saint young women will participate in their annual meeting in downtown Salt Lake tomorrow evening. This broadcast is for young women ages 12 to 18
The broadcast will originate at the Conference Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Sisters Susan Tanner, Julie Beck and Elaine Dalton, the three members of the General Young Women's Presidency will speak. Also addressing the audience tomorrow will be President James E. Faust, 2nd counselor in the church's First Presidency. Hundreds of young singers will also participate in this annual meeting as the choir.
For the first time, KSL will be broadcasting the General Young Women's Meeting on digital 5.3. The channel is available to anyone with an HD receiver.
Also, anyone who subscribes to the Comcast Cable enhanced digital package can watch the meeting live at 6:00 p.m. on channel 103.
The BYU-TV channel, available on most cable or satellite services, will also broadcast the meeting live at 6:00 p.m.
And KBYU-TV will air a delayed broadcast of the meeting at 8:00 p.m.
