SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utes are a win away from being bowl eligible after a 34-21 victory over Arizona. The Utes won last week in a way that Coach Whittingham would want. They ran the ball with John White IV for 109 yards and two touchdowns. They forced three turnovers and didn't turn the ball over. The defense was stout and kept the Wildcats score low.
They will face UCLA this week, who won last week and has control of their destiny in the Pac-12 South division. If Utah can win they will have an outside shot of making it to the championship game. UCLA kept the ball on the ground and survived with a missed field goal against Arizona State to win 29-28.
Here is a closer look at Utah and UCLA's victories along with the Utes other opponents.
