NEW YORK, Mar 21, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" breakout star Stephen Colbert is using his hit show, "The Colbert Report," as a springboard into literature.
Warner Books has reportedly paid Colbert "a solid seven figures" for the book due out in September 2007, Daily Variety reported Tuesday.
"This book will have the same noble goal as my television show: to change the world one factual error at a time," Colbert said.
Warner Books also put out the bestseller, "America (The Book)," which Colbert participated in writing as part of the "Daily Show" crew.
The untitled-book will be written by Colbert alone, insiders told Variety.
