(KSL News) A Utah Prison inmate is facing new charges that he tried to kill another inmate.
Nathan Redcap was sentenced to life behind bars in 2002, for rape and attempted murder. He now faces another charge of attempted murder for trying to stab another inmate with homemade weapons.
Officials say Redcap waited for Cameron Wilson in the shower and stabbed him with metal shanks tied to his forearms. Wilson was treated for cuts to his face, neck, arms and torso.
If convicted of this attack, Redcap could face another 20 years to life in prison.
