(KSL News) A Salt Lake City apartment complex under construction went up in flames this morning.
The fire was on the upper floor in the rear of the building at 200 West and 700 South, but it wasn't easy to get to.
Dan Andrus of the Salt Lake City Fire Department said, "It was a difficult fire to fight. The building was under construction. The thing isn't complete yet, and they had to use a stairway under construction in the front of the building to get to the fire."
The close proximity of a TRAX line was also a safety concern, but firefighters were able to work around it and trains continued to run.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause.
