SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul is coming to Utah.
The veteran Texas congressman has stops planned for Salt Lake City on Saturday.
Paul has trailed the frontrunners in national polls, but he has built a bit of a following with his call to pull all troops out of Iraq and his campaign around a limited role for government.
Paul has run for president before. In 1988, he ran as the Libertarian Party candidate, even while remaining a registered Republican.
Paul will attend a fundraiser Saturday, then speak about the Constitution during a rally at the Union Pacific depot.
Paul will also speak at a gathering of alternative medicine proponents about his Health Freedom initiative. Paul's proposal focuses on expanded access to alternative and homeopathic medicine and to information on dietary supplements.
