Tom Callan, KSL Newsradio Ogden police are searching for a suspect involved in a double shooting overnight.
Police say it happened around 11 p.m. outside the Viking Village Trailer Park.
Ogden Police Lt. Mike Ashment says one of the victims was sitting in a car with some young ladies when a car pulled up, the driver got out, hit the victim with a hammer and then opened fire.
The person was shot in the arm and buttocks as he tried to run away. He is in critical condition.
Another man was hit in the shoulder when he looked out the door of his home to see what was happening.
Officers say the shootings were not gang related and that the first victim knew the shooter.
