(KSL News) The violent beating of a teenager in Utah County has authorities worried that Hispanic gang activity is on the rise.
Provo police arrested a 19-year-old man earlier this month. They say he beat a 14-year-old boy with brass knuckles featuring small blades, near Dixon Middle School. Police say the fight started over comments about a local gang.
Investigators say gang activity is a growing problem. They're seeing more gang graffiti in certain areas, a sure sign that gangs are increasing in numbers and influence.
