(KSL News) -- LDS Hospital found a new way to treat complications brought on by diabetes.
Researchers discovered diabetic patients who are already taking two medications to lower cholesterol without results, benefit from adding a third cholesterol-lowering drug.
This is the first study to show effects of triple-drug therapy on patients.
Researchers are presenting their findings today at the American College of Cardiology scientific session in Atlanta.
