SALT LAKE CITY — A probation officer was charged with sexual misconduct after he fondled a woman he was supervising more than a year ago.
The 43-year-old probation officer, employed by Adult Probation and Parole in Salt Lake County, is accused of inviting the woman to his home to watch a movie on Nov. 24, according to documents filed in 3rd District Court on Wednesday. At the home, the two went to the officer's bedroom where some clothing was removed and the woman was fondled.
On other occasions, the woman told police that the probation officer drove her to work and touched her "over her clothing" in a sexual way, in the car, court documents state.
The man is charged with four counts of custodial sexual misconduct, all class A misdemeanors.
