(KSL News) Authorities in Washington County ruled a man who shot and killed a home intruder last March acted in self-defense.
However, Danny Dutton could still spend some time in jail.
Dutton has been ordered to stand trial for possessing the gun he used to kill Aaron Rondan Barbosa during the break-in.
Due to a previous conviction for marijuana, Dutton is banned from possessing firearms.
If convicted, Dutton faces up to 15 years in prison.
