(KSL News) A new phase in the City Creek Center development project has the LDS Church looking to buy some underground land rights.

Developers want to build new and expanded median ramps that will access underground parking for the City Creek Center.

They also hope to extend the underground pedestrian walkway at Social Hall Avenue to connect it to underground parking.

According to the Deseret Morning News, developers already own portions of the area, but they still need to purchase subsurface rights.
