(KSL News) The Catholic community celebrated the groundbreaking of a new school today.
The St. Andrew's Catholic School in Riverton will eventually accommodate 300 students from kindergarten to eighth grade.
It's a gift from the ALSAM Foundation, which is funded by the family of Leonard Samuel Skaggs. They also financed the Juan Diego Catholic School in Draper.
St. Andrew's is expected to open for classes next August.
