(KSL News) -- A Provo shopping area was evacuated this afternoon after a construction crew hit a natural gas line.
The workers hit the line and caused a sizable puncture in it.
Fire crews arrived to the scene as a precaution and police kept people away.
Fortunately, the strong breeze blew the gas away quickly, reducing the risk of an explosion.
When crews stopped the leak, the evacuation was lifted.
