L.A.F. focuses on cancer education, research and helping patients and their families get the support they need.
Riders say that worthy cause, and the scenery of southern Utah attracted them to the race. Many say they rode in memory of people who've suffered from cancer.
Thomas Fleischman, Grand Junction, CO: "I've seen a lot of suffering. People and good people die before their time so it's just a way to maybe get ahead of that in the future for my generation."
Chris Carmichael, Armstrong's Former Coach: "It's all about just getting out there and enjoying it for good reason raising money for help fight cancer"
The riding will continue through Monday.
