(KSL News) -- Utah is once again playing host to winter games sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee. Salt Lake City will be the host city for the 2007 Winter Deaflympics.

Today, members of the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf and Deaflympics organizers announced venues and sponsors for the upcoming games.

Salt Lake City will be the first city to host all three IOC sanctioned events when the Deaflympics comes here next year.

More than four-hundred deaf athletes, representing 20 countries, will compete in winter Olympic competitions, which include downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding and speedskating.
