(KSL News) -- A historic Salt Lake County home now has a new address.
The house was lifted off its foundation in Draper on 123rd South. It was moved to make way for new businesses on 300 East and 123rd South.
A large tractor trailer inched down the road to take the house to 124th South.
City officials say it was difficult to move the home, but they believe it was necessary to preserve a piece of Draper's history.
