(KSL News) -- 911 tapes have shed more light on a nasty car accident Monday.
The victim told police a black Honda tailgated her Monday evening on I-15 near Bluffdale. Witnesses say the same thing.
Here's part of the 911 call:
Voice of 911 caller: "Well I wanted to report there was a black Honda that was going very fast and I don't know if that had something to do with that accident because it was like simultaneous ... I saw the black Honda and then all the sudden 911 Dispatcher: "Did you get a plate on that vehicle?
Voice of 911 caller: "I didn't."
The crash sliced the victim's car in half. She's now in the hospital but should make a full recovery.
911 Dispatcher: "Did it roll?"
Voice of 911 caller: "No it did not roll it kind of skidded off the freeway and hit a pole and it broke in two."
911 Dispatcher: "The car broke in two or the pole?"
Voice of 911 caller: "No the car broke in two."
Police are looking for that Black Honda Prelude. If you have any information about the crash, contact the Utah Highway Patrol.
