PRICE — Two men are dead in what investigators believe was a murder-suicide late Sunday night.
Just before 11 p.m., the Carbon County Sheriff's Office received a call of shots fired from a residence on Wood Hills Road, said Lt. Tom Stefanoff.
When deputies arrived they found a 31-year-old man shot to death inside the house and the body of a 24-year-old man just outside the residence, he said. The 24-year-old man appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Stefanoff said.
A woman was also inside the house when the shooting started.
"The female was able to escape and fled to a parking lot," Stefanoff said.
Few details about the parties involved were immediately available. Investigators say the 31-year-old man lived in the house where he was shot. The 24-year-old man was from the Carbon County area.
Stefanoff did not say Monday how the woman was connected to either man. A possible motive was also not available Monday morning.
Stefanoff said detectives still had interviews to conduct before additional information was released.
