SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Lawmakers are gathering on Capitol Hill this morning for the seventh and last week of the legislative session.
Despite only three days left of the session, legislators take on some of this year's hottest issues.
Which includes a bill that would require a minor to get parental consent before getting an abortion. The measure is expected to get a floor debate today by the Senate. It was stalled more than a week as a budget was waged between the House and Senate.
Also today, a measure that would allow lawmakers to keep their letters and e-mails from citizens private is expected to go before the Senate.
The bill would alter the state's Government Records Access and Management Act to also protect communications between lawmakers and staff as they draft legislation.
