"It will be another chance for fans to be able to come and watch myself and many of the NBA draftees play a couple games here and have a great time," said Fredette in his morning interview on KSL.
"We knew that it would be something that would be fun for everybody here in Utah. Since there was an NBA lockout, we knew that we weren't going to be able to play much organized basketball, so it might be a good thing to get a couple of games in, in front of fans, especially."

Fredette and BYU Coach Dave Rose will captain one team against a team led by coach Steve Fisher of San Diego State. The other participants will be allocated to both teams by a "draft-style" format the week of the event. Other confirmed players will be announced in the coming weeks.
While all additional player participation has yet to be formalized, Fredette said updates would follow and "we have a lot of guys who are going tot be coming here; I believe Kemba (Walker) will be in the game, my (Sacramento Kings rookie) teammates Isaiah Thomas and Tyler Honeycutt will both be here. We have a bunch of other guys who are going to be coming...everybody's got to stay tuned, all the way up until the game."

Media partner KSL Newsradio will broadcast both games; I will call the games courtside with my BYU broadcast partner Mark Durrant. BYUtv will also air the Provo game nationally.
