Fort Worth, TX -- Trent Plaisted recorded 17 points and a career high 18 rebounds, and BYU defeated TCU in its final Mountain West Conference road test Saturday night, 81-72.

Rashaun Broadus added 16 points and Austin Ainge notched 6 assists for the Cougars (18-7, 10-4 MWC), who have now won eight of nine.

The Horned Frogs (5-23, 1-13) were led by Nile Murry's 25 points. Murry was 3 of 8 from three point range.

Plaisted's career rebounding night was also a historic one for BYU. The last Cougar to collect 18 rebounds was Gary Trost, on Dec. 19, 1991.

TCU was also paced by Chudi Chinweze, who had 15 points, and Neiman Owens, who had 13. Owens was 3 of 3 from three point range.
