PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Police are trying to find some answers this morning after a body was discovered near a canyon in Provo.
Officers say hikers called police last night after they discovered a body at the mouth of Rock Canyon.
Police say they found identification on the man, in his 20s to 30s, but will NOT release his name until his family has been notified.
Officers also say they do NOT suspect foul play, and say the man did NOT match the description of anybody who had been reported missing. However, detectives say the evidence does appear to point to a long fall from the canyon face.
The case remains under investigation, and authorities plan to return to the area today to collect more evidence.
