(KSL News) -- Utah Power hopes an increased reward will help it nab vandals responsible for damaging power substations.
The company is now offering a 10-thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of suspects.
Authorities say the reward comes in response to recent break-ins at substations in Salt Lake County.In some cases, vandals damaged equipment and resulted in power outages.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office.
