(KSL News) -- A veteran Utah journalist plans to make a run for public office.
Former television reporter Phil Riesen announced today he will run for a seat in the Utah State House. He made the announcement today at the State Capitol.
Riesen will run as a Democrat in District 36, which is in part of Salt Lake County.
