(KSL News) The man accused of hitting and killing a Hunter High School sophomore will spend one to 15 years in prison.
Jeremy Ryan Reed pleaded guilty to second-degree auto homicide. Other charges were dropped as part of a plea bargain.
Police say Reed was intoxicated when he hit the teen. The judge recommended Reed receive substance abuse therapy and mental health medication while in prison.
