KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) -- Roger Espinoza and Teal Bunbury scored and Sporting Kansas City extended its team-record unbeaten streak to 14 with a 2-0 victory against Real Salt Lake.

Kansas City improved to 7-6-9, despite playing most of the game with 10 men. RSL (9-5-6) lost back-to-back games since April 2010.

Espinoza was ejected for a hard tackle of RSL's Kyle Beckerman in the 57th minute.

He put Sporting up 1-0 in the 29th minute with his first goalsince June 17, 2008, and only the second of his four-year career.

Bunbury made it 2-0 in the 34th, knocking home the rebound after Nick Rimando saved Kei Kamara's header, and Jimmy Nielsen had three saves in the shutout.
