(KSL News) -- Speed and alcohol lead to a crash today in Kearns.
The 24-year-old was driving eastbound Monday morning near 4200 West and 5400 South. He lost control, slammed into a snow bank, slid across the road and crashed into a street sign.
Salt Lake County Sheriff Deputies say the man had serious injuries, including several lacerations on his hands and face.
Officers say the driver was drinking before he got behind the wheel.
A major accident team is investigating the crash.
