(KSL News) -- Firefighters had to battle snowy roads along with a fire at a house in Kearns today.
A passerby noticed smoke and flames and called 9-1-1. Firefighters found the home fully engulfed when they arrived.
The homeowners came home shortly after crews arrived and said they had two dogs inside. Firefighters were able to save them.
Damage is estimated at about 90 thousand dollars.
Elsewhere, a man had just finished using his snowblower to clear his neighbors' sidewalks when his garage went up in flames, along with a car inside it.
Both the man and his wife had left the house and are fine. The garage is a loss with damage estimated at 40-thousand dollars.
Firefighters say the heat from the snowblower caused the fire.
