Amanda Butterfield reporting All of the snow we've had here today is a wish come true for a little girl from Florida. In fact, she flew into town just for it.
The little girl has had a tough life -- she has a blood disease that required a bone marrow transplant -- quite a lot for a seven year old to have to go through.
But today, she wasn't thinking about that. All she was thinking about was snow.
This is a big day for Sabria Patel. Of all the things in the world she could wish for, sledding down a snow covered mountain was it.
Sabria Patel: "Cause I've never seen snow."
The Make a wish Foundation granted her wish, and flew her family to Utah.
Samir Patel/Father: "When we landed, at airport not lots of snow, and she said is this all the snow there is!"
But on top of Soldier Hollow, she wasn't disappointed.
Sabria Patel, Wish Came True: "Like you can play in the snow."
"You can throw snowballs at each other."
Sabrias childhood has been filled with doctors appointments and blood transfusions. She has a disease of the red blood cells, but with her recent bone marrow transplant, things should get better.
Samir Patel/Father: "Now you don't have worries, feel so happy, her future is going to be as normal as anyone else's.
The little guy who donated his bone marrow is the same little guy who was the target of her snowballs.
Sabria: "My brother!"
But she didn't throw them too hard, because she knows it's because of him, she's on her way to a better life.
