A model featured on posters to promote Broadway musical MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT has filed a lawsuit against its advertisers - claiming her picture makes her look stupid.
The image, which shows CARLA COLLINS wearing a low-cut dress pursing her lips and playing with her hair, has since been removed from the New York theatre arcade, despite advertisers insisting they had every right to put it up.
SUSAN TAYLOR from advertising agency Serino Coyne Inc. says, "After learning that the model objected to having her picture associated with Spamalot, we decided to stop using her image, even though we firmly believe that we can legally use it."
Collins filed the lawsuit last month (JAN06), seeking punitive damages and compensation for the pictures which were taken two years ago. (MP/WNWA/ZJS)
