(KSL News) -- Questar Gas has withdrawn its request to have five of its customers interviewed by its attorneys.
The gas company had had the Public Service Commission subpoena the customers to obtain information from supporters a pair of consumer advocates.
The pair challenged a recent decision by state regulators to have consumers, not the company, pay for a recent natural gas conversion program.
The advocates accused Questar of scare tactics. Late today Questar withdrew its subpoenas.
