(KSL News) Real Salt Lake has cleared the final hurdle in its quest for a stadium.
Last night the Sandy City Council approved the final agreement between the city and the team, freeing $35 million in hotel tax dollars to go toward the project.
The stadium will cost $100 million to build. Of that, $10 million will come from redevelopment agency funds, and another $45 million will be kicked in by Sandy City public dollars.
