(KSL News) A former American Sign Language professor received his sentence for sexually abusing one of his students.
Roger Wilkins will spend a year in prison-- it's the maximum sentence, because he took a plea deal last year.
He is also required to pay restitution to the victim and her family.
Wilkins taught at Salt Lake Community College and Utah Valley State College.
