SYRACUSE, Utah (AP)-- A Syracuse toddler crushed underneath a T-V and dresser this week is still recovering in the hospital this morning.
The 22-month-old toddler is in critical condition after undergoing surgery at Primary Children's Medical Center.
Police say the toddler suffered a fractured skull when she apparently stepped on the bottom drawer of a four-foot-tall dresser at her home. That's when the dresser, which had a TV on top, tumbled on top of her.
Officers say the child's mother pulled her unconscious daughter from beneath the furniture. The girl was flown to the hospital, where she remains in an induced coma.
