SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A former Salt Lake City airport employee who allowed his twin brother to work in his place has been sentenced.
Yesterday, the judge ordered Silviu Lucregiu Nedelcu to time served.
Nedelcu said he already had a job but took the required employment test for a company that provides commercial aviation services, so his brother Olimpiu Constantine Nedelcu could work.
Last May, the identity switch was discovered after about a week.
The brothers were charged with unlawful transfer of identification and entering an airport area in violation of security requirements.
Olimpiu was sentenced in November to time served.
