(KSL News) A semi truck tipped its load this morning in Salt Lake.
Troopers say the truck was traveling west on the Interstate 215 ramp to southbound I-15. The speed limit on that ramp is 25 miles per hour, but troopers say the driver was going much faster.
The truck's load of 40,000 pounds of tape spilled all over the road. It took several hours to get that cleaned up.
An elderly couple was inside the truck, as well as their dog. The woman suffered a broken arm and the man was complaining of neck and back pain. The dog is fine.
Police cited the driver of the truck for speeding.
