(KSL News) -- Vandals broke into an elementary school this weekend in Sandy.
Administrators at Westland Elementary, located near 3000 West and 7200 South, found the damage when they came to school this morning.
They say the vandals broke into the building through five different doorways. They sprayed graffiti in 13 spots inside the school, with derogatory messages about the school's staff.
Officials say the vandalism caused over a thousand dollars damage.
