BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- After someone saves your life, it's not often you get to return the favor. But a New York teen recently got that chance.
Seven years ago, Kevin Stephan was struck across the chest with a baseball bat. He was saved by a quick-thinking woman who performed C-P-R.
Now 17 years old, the boy was washing dishes at a Buffalo-area restaurant when customer Penny Brown began to choke. After he successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver on the woman, his mother recognized Brown.
The two are more than a little surprised by the coincidence. As a grateful Brown put it, "One good turn deserves another."
