(KSL News) -- Hundreds of Utah airmen are finally at home this afternoon after being in Iraq for five months.

The 388th Fighter Wing, 729th Air Control Squadron arrived at Hill Air Force Base early this morning.

While in Iraq, the 729th took part in flight operations. They were also there for historical milestones, including the referendum to the Iraqi constitution and the first Iraqi elections.

The airmen are scheduled to be home for about a year before their next deployment.
