LEHI -- Those seeking a summer escape to Thanksgiving Point should be advised that access to the area has now permanently changed due to construction associated with the Timpanogos Highway Project.

In order to accommodate a new interchange between I-15 and SR-92, Thanksgiving Way will no longer be a through street. Those traveling westbound on SR-92 will only be able to turn right onto Thanksgiving Way, and not left.
Essentially, you will only be able to turn right onto or off of Thanksgiving Way from either direction. Now, people must go further down to Ashton Blvd. for a through street.
A map of access is below.
"Although access will be different and a little confusing at first, the permanent detour will not affect the quality of programs and services we offer at Thanksgiving Point," said Thanksgiving Point CEO Mike Washburn in a press release.
"We believe the changes being done by UDOT will provide more efficient traffic flow to the interchange and ultimately make travel to our shops, restaurants and other venues faster and more accessible."
The change was effective beginning June 2.
