(KSL News) -- A Utah House committee endorsed a bill stopping a measure approved by Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson.
Anderson signed a proposal giving same sex partners health insurance benefits like married people. The benefits apply to workers employed by the city.
The House bill would ban using tax dollars to pay for benefits of anyone but an employee's spouse or children.
